Brand new Aria

I have had the wonderful pleasure this weekend of spending a few days with my brand new niece, Aria Kai Murrell. She is only 10 days old and looks like a little budda with her huge round head and little round belly. This morning we played together. She learned to run (Uncle Todd moving her legs) and cheer (Uncle Todd moving her arms). She also learned how to bake a cake and make biscuits.

Her little hands are perfect with long tiny little fingers. She has some fuzz on ears and a nice little head of hair. I tease Tracy, her mother, that she's going to grow up to be a troll.

I always dreaded little babies because they were "no fun." But I'm finding that not to be true with Aria. She is a lot of fun. Sure, she doesn't endure long amounts of play, but she is fun. She can't really control her facial expressions right now, but surprises you with intense frowns, quirky smiles and hilarious grunts. She's just a precious little person. Pretty cool.
